Being an artist, a creator—someone who creates something out of nothing—has really allowed me to see the beauty of my Creator more fully. God spoke every single piece of the earth, every cloud, every molecule into existence - and has seen fit to allow me to try and recreate some of that through art.

But the best part of His Creation - His most treasured creation is you and me. We were created for His glory, made in His image to represent Christ. As a Christian artist, what I create is a reflection of Christ in me. I take great pride in my work, but never because it's about me or my abilities. I take pride that God has given me the ability for His glory. And perhaps my clients and viewers will come to see a little piece of His image through my work.

The unveiling of a painting for a client, the gasp at the beauty of a painted flower, the joy of unwrapping a handmade gift - therein can a piece of heaven be found - where the beauty of the Creator meets us in our everyday lives.
