and sponsorship HIGHLIGHTS
Throughout my experience with event planning, I've learned that success hinges on meticulous attention to detail and effective communication. From coordinating corporate functions to anniversary parties and luncheons to employee award ceremonies, every event presents unique challenges that require creative problem-solving and adaptability. Whether it's designing invites and banners, budgeting resources, or ensuring seamless execution on the day, I've cultivated a skill set that balances creativity and organizational effectiveness.
Seeing a vision come to life and witnessing the joy it brings guests & clients fuels my passion for event planning. I've also loved being a part of sponsorships, bringing many employee volunteers together to connect with the community in meaningful ways.
Architecture grand opening
Below is some of my work as Marketing Manager with Innovative Collaborations in Boston, MA. This is the grand opening of a brand new, state-of-the-art pediatric clinic in Wellesley, MA. In preparation, we sent out digital invites, and personally invited town officials from the Mayor's office to the town Design Review Board and Zoning Board of Appeals. I coordinated with a decorating service, compiled a shot sheet for the photography team, communicated with the pediatric clinic's owners, and produced a video to showcase the building from design to construction to completion. At the event, I coordinated and/or directed venue set-up, AV, caterers, photography/video/drone team, order of events, and ribbon cutting.
OPEN House & Successful Sale
After I managed the planning of this Open House, I was thrilled for the home to have sold for $2,350,000 as a direct result! I marketed the event, sent out invites to the community, and directed video production.
Company 21st Anniversary Party
Below is some of my work as Marketing Manager with Innovative Collaborations in Boston, MA. They celebrated their 21st anniversary in 2023 with a masquerade party, with hors d'oeuvres, a raw oyster bar, wine tasting, and a sneak peek into their newest architectural designs.
I sent out digital invites, and coordinated decor, caterers, order of events, raffles, and an aniversary presentation. I worked with a media company to produce an event video, edited executive speeches, and worked with AV for the event. The event concluded with a surprise proposal from my boss to his (now) wife.

Festival committee
August 2022
Assiting to plan the Chamber's largest annual event. Working mainly with outreach in downtown Plymouth & small business involvement in the festival. Spread the word for local businesses & vendors and shared ways for them to get involved in outreach & promotions during the event.
Tech Etch Sponsors Plymouth Parades
Below are public pictures and posts from my work as Marketing Coordinator with Tech Etch. We sponsored several 4th of July & Thanksgiving Parades. Our employees volunteered to help build the floats we sponsored. I helped coordinate communications & announcements and designed signage, banners, float wraps, & T-shirts. I was a photographer as well.
SCholarship Luncheons
Below are public pictures and links from my work as Marketing Coordinator with Tech Etch. We awarded scholarships to graduating seniors pursuing engineering degrees. I coordinated invites, presentations, and banners. I was a photographer as well.
Annual Tenure awards ceremonies
I was on the team for planning annual award ceremonies & dinners, and I designed invites & signage. I was the event photographer as well. I created the original design for the tenure plaques. Though the award was for 10 & 15-year tenure, they honored me with my own photoetched print for the work I had done.
Special dinner for employees celebrating 20-50 years of tenure. I designed banner/signage, assisted with set-up, and was the photographer.
Grand Opening Event
Assisted planning of unveiling events, invites & signage for two new company Logistics & Innovation Centers. I was the event photographer as well.
Christmas Tree Festival Sponsorship
December 2020. Tech Etch sponsored the town of Plymouth Christmas tree festival. This was when I first started volunteering in the marketing department.
We decorated this tree in 30° weather!
40th Anniversary Surprise Party
June 7, 2026, my parents celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. Completely a surprise to them, I was able to pull off a huge party with our church family. Leading up to the event, I created a brand (that only myself and the Event Planner helping me were aware of - but it matters for visual cohesiveness!) of red/ivory/gold and the fonts Cinzel Decorative & Parfumerie Script Old Style. I partnered with a local print shop to print invites, a large custom card for the church family to sign (post-printing I painted gold metallic accents), an 18"x24" poster of their wedding photo (gold accents as well), and ten 20"x30" foam board collages that I compiled of my parents' photos from the past 40+ years. To keep under budget, I had the printer print on full gloss photo paper, and then I applied them to self-adhesive foam board myself. Photo memories and personal touches are especially important to me to include with events when able. The photo wall for this event was a showstopper that continually drew people back in. I also wrote a musical arrangement of the song that was sung at their wedding 40 years ago, and it was performed by my cousins and accompanied by me on the piano.
The only photographer I know had a baby that week, so I also ended up photographing the party myself! The week leading up to the party, I baked/cooked most of everything at my grandparents' house, including a 3-tier wedding cake which I decorated in their basement. The morning of the party I had a large team transporting food & decor to the venue, and a team of 20+ people setting up the event in record time (under 1 hour).
I did this event *while* living in my parents' home. So I believe I can confidently say that I am experienced in event planning! My parents were completely surprised, and it was an honor celebrating them with so many people who love and care for them.
